Sacagawea was kidnapped from the Shoshone tribe at 12-years-old. Married and with a baby at 17, she helped Lewis and Clark explore the new land acquired in the Louisiana Purchase. They traveled thousands of miles from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean and her skills as a translator were invaluable, as was her intimate knowledge of some difficult terrain.
Then Lynn tells us about Sally McNeil. A victim of domestic abuse, Sally was a former Marine turned bodybuilder who was convicted of second-degree murder for killing her bodybuilder husband Ray McNeil.
